Care support for international students

Industry Connected

To ensure that our graduates are work ready, and that we meet the needs of the job market, we work closely with employers, industry and community organisations to understand and respond to the skills which are required. We also employ staff with industry knowledge, often practising professionals in their given fields of expertise.

Internationalisation is an integral part of who we are as an institution, how we operate, and how we are setting up global connections for our students, staff and employers.

We have an international team responsible for recruiting international students, developing offshore partnerships with international institutions, and providing dedicated pastoral care to the international students studying at Wintec.

We have 52 nationalities represented at Wintec, and each year, have 1,300 international students studying at our institution.

Globally Connected

We are globally connected through partnerships with international institutions and many of our programmes are delivered offshore.

Many countries are experiencing a shortage of skilled workers in vocational fields across a number of industries. Wintec is working with institutions, corporate organisations and government agencies around the world to find innovative solutions to meet their training, education and business needs.

Our delivery projects include exporting curriculum, providing tailored courses, assisting with skills development, managing institutions, providing skilled teaching resources and managing academic programmes.
